Bob Massah – Prosthetist/Orthotist & Expert Witness
Bob Massah is a highly experienced Prosthetist/Orthotist with extensive expertise in lower limb prosthetics, upper and lower limb silicone cosmetic restoration, and all areas of orthotics. He has worked in specialist clinics, including MSK, diabetes, spinal, and paediatrics, and has significant experience managing trauma, neurological, and MSK orthotic cases. His background also includes working as an orthotic technician, giving him a deep understanding of both clinical practice and technical manufacturing.
Bob has extensive knowledge in prosthetics and remains up to date in the technological advancements in the field. He is trained on the latest microprocessor-controlled knees and continuously updates his expertise to incorporate the newest innovations in both prosthetics and orthotics. In addition, he has a strong interest in foot and ankle biomechanics, ensuring that his clinical practice is grounded in the latest research and evidence-based treatments.
Bob has six years of experience as an expert witness, producing clear, concise reports that explain medical and technical concepts in an accessible manner. He consistently delivers reports on time and follows the Bond Solon method, ensuring compliance with best practices. He is well-versed in providing expert opinions on cases requiring orthotic and prosthetic intervention.
Bob ensures his knowledge remains current with ongoing professional development. He is a registered Prosthetist/Orthotist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO).
